This Week In Juicing for my Family!

Updated: Mar 19

This week, I mixed up some fruits for my family and it turned out super delicious, using fresh and delicious fruits such as oranges, cherries, strawberries, apples and mandarines. Let's dive into my juicing journey and discover the amazing benefits of these fruits!

Orange - The Tangy Delight

Oranges are a staple in our household, and juicing them has been a game-changer. The tangy citrus flavor lingers on the taste buds, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. Oranges are packed with Vitamin C, which supports a healthy immune system and promotes collagen production for glowing skin. When juicing Oranges sometimes they can be a bit bitter, but when mixing with powerful fruits like cherry it helps a lot.

But did you know that oranges also contain a compound called hesperidin? Hesperidin has been shown to lower blood pressure and reduce inflammation. The combination of Vitamin C and hesperidin makes orange juice a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory elixir.

Cherry - The Sweet Indulgence

Juicing cherries has been a delightful experience, both for my taste buds and my health. Cherries are bursting with antioxidants, which help fight oxidative stress in the body. They are also a great source of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep patterns.

By incorporating cherry juice into my family's daily routine, we have noticed improved sleep quality and a boost in energy levels. (Not that my kids need more ENERGY😅) Additionally, cherries have anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate muscle soreness after a strenuous workout. It's like a delicious post-workout treat!

Strawberry - The Berrylicious Wonder

Strawberries are a family favorite in our household, and juicing them has taken our love for this fruit to a whole new level. Juicy, sweet, and vibrant, strawberries are packed with essential vitamins and minerals.

One of the key benefits of strawberry juice is its high content of antioxidants. These powerful little berries help protect against chronic diseases and promote heart health. They also contain ellagic acid, which has been shown to reduce the risk of certain cancers.

Mandarines - The Zesty Citrus

Mandarines add a zesty kick to our juicing adventures. These small citrus fruits are known for their sweet flavor and juiciness. Not only do they taste amazing, but they also offer a plethora of health benefits.

Mandarines are an excellent source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. These vitamins work hand-in-hand to support a healthy immune system and boost collagen production. They also contain fiber, which aids in digestion and helps regulate blood sugar levels.

Apples - My Sweet Apple

Have you heard this saying: “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” I don't know how true this statement is but apples are really good for you. Apples are one of the most delicious and healthy fruits you can eat.

Apples are a good source of nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants which can help support healthy digestion, brain health, and weight management. There is evidence that apples can also protect against certain chronic diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.

This week in juicing for my family has been an eye-opening experience. Incorporating fresh fruits like oranges, cherries, strawberries, apples and mandarines into our daily routine has provided us with a wide array of nutrients and health benefits.

From the tangy delight of orange juice to the sweet indulgence of cherry juice, and the berrylicious wonder of strawberry juice to the zesty kick of mandarine juice – each fruit brings its unique flavor and nutritional profile to our juicing journey.

So why not join us in exploring the world of juicing for your family? Let your taste buds dance with delight, while your body thanks you for the nutrient-packed goodness. Cheers to a week of juicing and happy, healthy living!
